We Create Businesses with a Double Bottom Line

We are a catalytic network of entrepreneurs and social change agents who are engaged in the creation of earned income ventures with a double bottom line. It is our mission to nurture an environment of profitable, sustainable business enterprises with social impact in southeast Michigan, and our vision to develop a broad-based network of leaders focused on accelerating social entrepreneurship among individuals, businesses and institutions.

Our Defining Values

Our Social Ventures Network is founded upon, and is guided by, a set of defining values. These include:
  • To provide learning opportunities for social entrepreneurs and institutions seeking to achieve profitability with a double or triple bottom-line, that cross boundaries and that transform the culture.
  • To assist innovators of new products, new services or new approaches to social issues to bridge the distance between ideas and the realization of sustainable products and services.
  • To engage the investing community in stimulating and supporting social entrepreneurship in this region.
  • To promote strategic advocacy and public policy initiatives.

We will be adding content to this site, to create a place, open to all, where social innovators can network, collaborate, and build innovative social change together.
